Chiropractors who want to become a QME in California are required to complete a 25-hour Industrial Disability Evaluator (IDE) training course. This IDE course is approved by and meets the California's Division of Workers' Compensation requirements for a chiropractor to apply for the QME exam and appointment.
This class is comprised of 2 components
Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Fifth Edition (can be purchased here)
Other materials will be provided via email prior to course date.
This class is being sponsored by Life West Chiropractic College.
In-person attendance is not required, but is highly recommended. Students benefit from engagement, interaction and real-time clarification. Students who attend in-person inevitably become a community for collaboration, support and networking.
